That means that the wife must carry her pur chases with her, and perhaps a baby and one or two little folks. Recently -I naw' a mother with a baby on her arm and two small children about 3 and 6. syears of age, and numerous parcels try ing to give her children a drink from the drinking fountain near the Capital drug store.... Urging her 3-year-old to climb the foun tain like a monkey, and after re peated failures on his part, she sat .her baby on the sidewalk, to gether with the parcels, and took one after another and held them up for a drink. -.
