Parking Iaw Werks llankhlp
The two-hour parking law works
hardships on out-of-town mothers
with children, the farmer usually
has much business to attend to
and parks his car outside the two
hour limit to be safe. That means
that the wife must carry her pur
chases with her, and perhaps a
baby and one or two little folks.
Recently -I naw' a mother with a
baby on her arm and two small
children about 3 and 6. syears of
age, and numerous parcels try
ing to give her children a drink
from the drinking fountain near
the Capital drug store.... Urging
her 3-year-old to climb the foun
tain like a monkey, and after re
peated failures on his part, she
sat .her baby on the sidewalk, to
gether with the parcels, and took
one after another and held them
up for a drink. -. ' 1
