Poultry Demand Heavy For the first time during the year, local restaurant ! men were forced to send to Portland for dressed poultry to satisfy their customers., Heretofore, the local product and supply has been suffi cient to supply the market. Classes have been dismissed since Friday, March 20, for the rlgular spring vacation. ' ; , " Snow Covers Ground During the week-end snow cov ered the" ground near the Silver Creek, falls, according -to word brought here by visitors. Tike snow was not deep, hut of sufficient depth to cover the ground. Trav elers are able to get within three miles of the falls before the roads become Impassible.
