The office f president-to the untYer slty will be left open only until April 1, it was announced, and after that date active steps will be taken towards securing the new executive. Dr. Carl Gregg Doney, presi dent of the Willamette university was given a year's leave of ab sence, with the fire-year contract that was entered in between him self and the trustees. During the leave of absence in the past months many rumors have devel oped about the securing of a new president. In the absence of President Doney, Dean George H.
