That the tax should begin al $750 sincle and $1500 married it proved by the fact lhat-Orpgo has practically 150.000 taxpayers, 100,000 of which have net Income below the exemption named, yet those 100,000 persons pay taxes in excess of $4 0 each. That property tax valued at 60 per cent taxed at 10 mills would. have to pay $7200. $1200 penalty yet remains on the "ommunity builder, the man who r,ives employment and makes the late grow.
