O.. liar, old was committed to the Oregon state hospital, as admitted by him In his complaint. He stated that he waa in the Oregon state hospital until 1905 when he was discharged, but-he alleges la his comaplarnt that he was recommitted again at the instance of the defendants antil 1909. When he was discharged from the hospital la 1909, the plaintiff. P. O. Harold. avers, he secured his rreedom on a parole for a year, -at the expiration of which time he waa permanently discharged and that he has been .on t of the. hospital since -1910 working on hia farm. : Mr. -Harold stated In his com plaint that in August. 1893. the de fendant, Christina Harold., caused him to execute an Instrument for "bargain, sale and quit-claim deed when he was . mentally deficient. caused by his ' ailment. He claims that the deed was executed for no consideration " whatsoever ' when he was-not in' his right f mind. He charge that the deed was executed us a fraud upon his right. The plaintiff alleges.
