SS.00O.00O OFFERED V. S. . , FOR STEAMSHIP LEVIATHAN Washington,- June 30. (I. N. S.) One bid was received today by the shipping board for the purchase of the steamship Leviathan. It was Coffered by the United States Mail Steamship company of New York and specified $3,000,000 for the vessel. The bid stipulated; that If the offer was accepted ' the "shipping board shall loan the company $6,000,000 at 5 per cent Interest and to be applied toward conditioning the ship.
