General cargo was for the Orient and
consisted of everything from wool and

ports ia. the cereal line were the Grain
corporation the" Pacific Grain company
and the Portland Flouring nulls. The
latter firm dispatches the Kay seeks and
the Eastern Glen.
In port and receivinc carso for,, the
United Kingdom are the Bearport,
Bakersfield and Yosemlte, all of which
should have been In the June Bailing: a.
The former will take wheat for the Pa
cific Grain to Manchester and the Ba
kersfleld and Yosemits will take .flour
for the Portland Flouring- Mills company
to Egypt. '
For July srrivals three steamers, the
Effingham. Western Cross and Sinasta.
have been named and avfaurth, name
unannounced, has been assigned for the
clean-up of the. 191f crop.

FOR STEAMSHIP LEVIATHAN
Washington,- June 30. (I. N. S.) One
bid was received today by the shipping
board for the purchase of the steamship
Leviathan. It was Coffered by the
United States Mail Steamship company
of New York and specified $3,000,000 for
the vessel. The bid stipulated; that If
the offer was accepted ' the "shipping
board shall loan the company $6,000,000
at 5 per cent Interest and to be applied
toward conditioning the ship.
The only bid received for the pur
chase of the steamship Dekalb was that
of the American Ship It Commerce cor-
