Postoff ice Receipts At The Dalles Total $37,920 for 1918 The Dalles, Jan. 30. Postoffice re- ceipts at the local postoffice showed a substantial increase during the past year, according to the report of Post master Williams, made public today. ' Gross receipts for 1918 were $37,920. - while those of the preceding year were $33,034. Thus an increase of $4557 Is shown. . : " It is estimated .that 47,300 parcel post i packages wese handled during the past yean.
