Spanish influenza has not reached the Pacific ; coast yet, said Dr. George Ebrlght, president of the state board of health, today. Multnomah Club to Entertain Tonight Several swimming races and diving contests, billiard and pool exhibitions, bowling, chess, checkers, handball squash and other games will be staged at the Multnomah club tonight at the entertainment for members and pros pectlve members. The doors will be open at S o'clock and members will show guests over the big clubhouse from top to bottom. Epidemic Hits Gloucester Gloucester, Mass., Sept 21. (I. N. S.) An appeal to outsidj towns for doc tors and' nurses to assist in caring for the thousands of sufferers from the grip epidemio nere was sent out today by the health authorities. Of the city's 23 physicians six are ill with the malady. Dr. Lindsay Is Dead Springfield. Ill- Sept 21. (I. N. S.)
