The state pub- !1r service commission Uday extended 1 the suspension of an advance of steel rates by the ( reon-Washington Rail road A- Navigation company, from Portland to Pendleton and Athena, to April 1. 1916. Jimmy Clarke Is Signed by McCredie Walter McCredie today signed Jim my Clarke, considered one of the best pitchers in the Northwest league.
