Bids must be made either In person r by agent, and not through mail, at the time and place designated, and there la no restriction as to the num ber of lota that one person may pur chase nor as to the qualifications of the purchaser. No lot will be sold for less than $10, and any lots sold for $10 ! must be paid for on the day of sale. The minimum of $10 and at least 25 per cent vt the bid price of eacn ret sold for more than J10 must be paid on the date of sale and the remainder In one, two or three Installments, ac cording to the price of the lot. For lots aold for $100 or more 25 per cent mast be paid cash, and the remainder may be divided Into three equal in stallments, due, respectively, one, two and three years from date of sale. No entry will be allowed until pay ment has been -made in full for the lot, but In case of partial payment a non-transferable , memorandum cer tificate showing the rtgit of the pur chaser to make entry upon complet ing the payments will be Issued. Pur chasers will be allowed to transfer by deed their interests in the lota purchased, but the certificate and patent will issue In the name of. the original purchaser. Persons failing to rraae any deferred payment when it becomes due will forfeit their Interest In the lot and such lot. after forfeiture is declared, wilL.be subject to private entry at its appraised value. Warnlaff Against Combination. Warning is given against any com bination or agreement or attempt to hinder or embarrass the sale, and it is declared that all persons so offend lng will be prosecuted under section 2373 of fie revised statutes. The sale will take place under the supervision of the superintendent of the opening and sale of Indian lands. The towns in which lots are to be sold are located on the main line of the Great Northern railroad along the southern boundary of the former Fort Peck Indian reservation. The lands in said former reservation not allotted to the -Indians are now being entered under the homestead and desert land laws under a drawing which took place last fall. A number of the places are now thrivlngtowns with hotels, stores, etc. It is believed that much interest will be manifested in the disposition of these lots, as it is believed that the lands surrounding them will be appro priated or occupied in the near future and that the lots will be in demand for buKlness purposes and places of resi dence.
