And good cherries, too. They were brought to the city yesterday by W. W. Smith, whose farm Is five miles south at the city, and were sampled and found lacking in nothing save perhaps firmness of the meat. The cherries have been on the trees continuously since last June, says Mr. Smith. At that time the first and main crop was picked, but there were many blossoms on the trees then. The blos soming has continued throughout the summer, and until last night's freeze killed them, they were still there. With the constant blooming-has been the ripening of the fruit, and there has not been a day Bnce last June. Mr. Smith says, when ripe cherries could .not be picked from this tree. Money and Exchange.
