Decision to this effect was reached at a meeting of the com mittee appointed by a number of com. merclal organizations at the Commercial club at noon yesterday. W. F. Woodward presided at the meet- 1 ing, at which about 20 were present. A resolution was adopted directing the appointment by the chairman of a com mittee of 15 to raise the necessary money and to make other arrangement! for the show. This committer will ba. named soon. A resolution was also ' passed reassuring Spokane that the Portland apple show will in no way be antagonistic to the annual apple show at Spokane, which has attracted coun try wide attention.
