i PLAN TO HOLD APPLE
SHOW IS ADOPTED
Portland will have a big apple show
this year, probably during the Thanks
giving week. Decision to this effect
was reached at a meeting of the com
mittee appointed by a number of com.
merclal organizations at the Commercial
club at noon yesterday.
W. F. Woodward presided at the meet-
1 ing, at which about 20 were present.
A resolution was adopted directing the
appointment by the chairman of a com
mittee of 15 to raise the necessary
money and to make other arrangement!
for the show. This committer will ba.
named soon. A resolution was also
' passed reassuring Spokane that the
Portland apple show will in no way be
antagonistic to the annual apple show
at Spokane, which has attracted coun
try wide attention.
