I told you about them, you will perhaps remember, soma weeks ago, but we had no way of knowing then Juat how far they would please. They ar a tremendous success. Everyone who Is anyone In the south, but not "everyone" Is wearing them gay little Ratln or taffeta coats over llngorln and linens. It Is a pretty fad. Not all of them are plain, cither, but flower sprin kled, preferably being used ara small dissected blossoms or tiny noBoRays made up of, say, a spray of mlgnnnutte. a bachelor's button and a geranium, or. It might be, a rosebud or two with u fern fronde. In the sketch this week f am showing yoii an altogether different type of froc from the ones heretofore described while lines are not lost sight of any where, this new model la not altngath simple as lingerie frocks go. Its foun dation Is fine batiste mounted on n and very elaborately enorusted with ba tlsta embroidery. The entire front Is embroidered, the Upper part In a solid pattern suggesting a yoke, and the mll die section in a design of delicate trncery that suggests or continues the yoke In panel form until It meets the border, which is again of the more solid look Ing embroidery, and Is extended up the sides In points, failing Into lha border aoross tba baok. xne lower .part or me blouse is ap parently a continuation of tha panel; that Is, it Is of the solid embroldnry while the upper portion Is of plain ba tlste with a threa-inch band of black velvet between the two, underlying a part of the embroidery. The novel fea ture of tibe gown la tha circular bertha that strongly hints of the bolero.. It Is cut epaulet fashion at the shoulders and the edges ar spread apart In front to disclose three Bmall black velvet buttons dotting the center of narrow cord strappings. The circular shope of the bertha makes It fall In a graceful jabot effect in front while In back an unusual dis. position is made, of the fulness. It Is carried down oyer the sleeve and light ly caught to ona of the two front folds. thus iorming an over-sleeve. The velvet band from the front slope down tinder the arms to the center of thi waistline at the bark, where, from a small double bow, two enda of black chiffon fall, each banded with, the 'vel vet. The plaited frill about the sleeves and neck is of net. I am beginning now the work out some ideas from printed muslins and organdies, that, I think, are very orig inal and that, if I mistake not, will turn our very satisfactorily. I shall develop one in cream-colored Philippine mull, printed with violets, and change able violet and . green tffeta. The sRIrf win be plain, finished at the ex treme foot, with a taffeta colored cprd that gathers tha Bilk in a very little. uver mis win be a short tunic of thu mull, bordered with a Cluny band seven inches wide. This tunic la to be slashed op the sides, the edges turned tn two inon hems, and each corner decorated with a tiny .wreath of artificial violets. Then tha bodice of taffeta will have a liitle bib of the mull caught up to it wun vioiet WTeama at eaeh corner and atralght sleeves to the elbow, set on Instead of Into the armslde after being ahlrrtd two or threter tlmea a half Inch from tba edge, which leaves a beading. t There I no doubt of the rlsht of this season to ba termed a "flower season." Blossoms and foliage are used In every eoaoelvable manner and In most unex- pectea ways. r tha most pari their arrangements ai s OM and stiff looking that they appear to have been accomjilldhed by exact mathematical calculation, as in tha trimming ef th model skutohed. Inter spersed freely with long, slender leaves of a deep purplish blue, deeper than that of the facing. The flowers themselves ar very love ly. Little regard la shown for their re lation to their natural counterparts, In so fur as color Is concerned. Roses are likely to be blue or orange aa anything and peonies and popplea, where their reds hava always been their chlefent Mire, are anything the dyer has been inclined to make them. froea II, still r4re4 taa raivrareu a raeuotl. are-vee without 4et thai la (hat variety ef eajteer al laaat a para l ua) gras-la. ta aat tip la a healthy body la a way elrallar la that In whith curable gam diseases are pradu4 by moruiaiioa r vires lata the circulation. r naua ear-erlmeet waa rem: 1 waive ia that ba round that the cancerous at tract. vaa whan It waa filled wilfi trma eauaad by accidental or Induced lnrectn.a. could ba fitrd until no known I arm waa left, and at lie malig nant power of creating a naw eaacer remain ad.
