L, Mills presented his resignation as president and F. A. Ackerman was elected to fill the vacancy. Great satis faction was expressed by members of the association because of the Improve ment of Milwaukle street and It was urged that the completion of the sewer and paving system for Westmoreland be forwarded as much as possible. The opening of East Seventeenth street la also demanded. "Mysterious Billy" Smith Better Dr. Fred J. Ziegler, who Is attending "Mys terious Billy" Smith, who is at the St. Vincent's hospital suffering from bullet wounds inflicted on him by A. B.
