OWEN RESOLUTION ON LORIMER REFERRED (United Press Ltiued Wire.) Washington, Jan. 12. When Senator Owen's resolution, declaring the seat of Senator Lorlmer of Illinois vacant, was called up yesterday, it was referred to the committee on privileges and elec tions, which had already submitted a r port exonerating Lotinier. , There was no protest against this ao tion, Senators Owen and Beverldge, the latter of whom filed a minority report of the committee against Lorlmer, be ing absent.
