Ten days after Vaughn's death Mrs. John B. Kirk." wife of th president of tbe stat normal, whose guest Mrs. Vaughn was after the funeral of her husband, heard her guest play Mendelssohn's A Wedding March on the piano In her parlor. She eras greatly shocked: and considered Mra Vaughn's action auspicious enough to speak to her husband about it. Pres ident Kirk communicated with Profes sor Vaughn's brothers and they began a quiet investigation. After they had gathered some material they placed th Matter before the oproner, who took or dered an investigation, i In spite of th protests or airs, vaugnn ana ner auur peys the body of Professor Vaughn was exhumed And the viscera were turned over to Dr. Paul Schweltser of th Mis souri Stat university for analysis.
