It Is estimated that 6,000,000 people a week can reach Earl's court at a nominal crioe from any section of the great city by quick transit lines, sucn as unaergrouno, tramways, busses and electric cabs. The business carried on between the United States and the United Kingdom comorlsea one fifth of the commerce of the world and is constantly Increasing. This enormous fact will be made clear and its significance emphasised in this ner vein, from which tens of millions or dollar a worth of ore baa been mined The January Mining company is corporation organised under the laws of tne state or Oregon, wltn tne pricieai place of business In Portland, and claims to be owner of the Republican Fraction Lode claim In the Yreka, mln Ing district, which came into possee slon of that company by means of t transfer from the Federal Mining it Smelting company to Frank T. In view of the fact that Post Is at torney for the Federal company, It is f enerally believed that that company Is n reality behind the suit. It Is de clared that the famous Wardner vein haa Its apex in the Republican Fraction Lode claim, and traverses it in an east erly and westerly direction and that It la this vein wnicn outcrops in tne Bun ker Hill, Emma, Last Chance, Stem winder and Tyler. loda claims. On ac count of the allegation that this vein has its anex in the Republican Fraction Lode claim, the January company as serts that It is entitled to run posses sion thereof throughout Its entire length.' It further claimed that the Bunker Hill company has removed, large quantities of ore from the vein and has dnstroved evidence of this By rilling UD the voids caused thereby from debris and waata.
