Demo crat for governor, has a majority of from 20.000 to 30,000 and It seems as sured that ths legislature will be Demo cratic. The movement for the election of Kern to the senate has already been started by the Democratelc leaders and only an astounding reversal of results by later - returns, it seems, pan prevent the election of Bryan's running mate. Representative Overstreet of the Seventh district, chairman of the house committee on mails, has probably been defeated, though the returns are Incom plete and the result may be changed. Is making big gains and cowherd, Democrat, will probably be defeated. Hadley s gains were prin cipally in 8t Louis, where 40S precincts gave htm 48,481 and Cowherd 37,681. This ratio gives Hadley the city by 15, 000. Kansas City reports favor Had ley, who is gaining steadily. Unless the country districts can give Cowherd a greater vote than they gave Governor Folk, Cowherd will be defeated.
