This new beach resort will be known as Idlewild. The Astoria and Columbia railway runs through the property and it is said the Astoria, Seaside and Tilla mook railway will also run through it, thus giving good transportation facili ties. The first ses sion of the Clatsop Heach Chatauoua will be held at Idlewild In August, ljo!). Fifty. acres of this new beach will be reserved for community property and the balance will be platted and sold. Some of the features planned are a new sanatorium a health resort, not a hospital, an administration building, two hotels, an auditorium to seat 3.000 people, and an athletic field of 20 acres to be in charge of Robert M. Grllley, physical director of the Portland Y. M. C. A.
