The hearing gives promise of bring ing out some sensational testimony In view of the fact that Captain Olson has set forth In his complaint that Pilot Bailey frightened the passengers on the partly disabled Alliance ln saying that the vessel would be lost unless she be taken In tow. The Minnie E. Pinnance baa had the sign on the Mohlerites ln every game he pitched except the draw one Wednesday, when a bad inning allowed the Seals to' score four tn the first ' ' Pinnance will be sent to the firing line by Manager McCredie because pop ular opinion demands that the Chippewa brave occupy that place. Hundreds of fans went to the game last Tuesday for no other reason than te see him in ac tion. They . were dlsaoDOlnted. McCredie la doing the thing right to put him in the box even If it does throw Bobby Groom over Into next week. Bobby Is a familiar figure while the Indian is practically a stran. Eer. But he won't remain so long for Is popularity has become contagious. Kinsella will go against the mla to day and will probably be opposed by the old reliable Oskie Jones. Oskle has been bumped considerably by the heavy sticking Beavers and he Is out after them hot and heavy touay. Danny Long has not pitched his southpaw. Sutor. yet.
