Beard, a well-known farmer who lived two miles east of Lebanon and who shot himself about 10 days ago while de mented and In charge of officers, has died at his home from the effects of the shot. He never regained . conscious ness. : -- i- Beard was born in this county- about five miles east of this place, and spent his entire life in Linn county.
