He says that in September, 1906, he agreed to buy 7,480 acres from the de fendant if he found it satisfactory after cruising. He was to pay $25 per acre, the first payment of (50 to be made tin January 1, 1907. He says that by De cember 15. 1906, he finished the work of cruising and accepted the land, but granted Rribs more time in which to perfect his title.
