J. O. Storev has herun suit in the
circuit court against Frea a. itrios ror
$66,027 damages on- a timber land deal.
He says that in September, 1906, he
agreed to buy 7,480 acres from the de
fendant if he found it satisfactory after
cruising. He was to pay $25 per acre,
the first payment of (50 to be made tin
January 1, 1907. He says that by De
cember 15. 1906, he finished the work of
cruising and accepted the land, but
granted Rribs more time in which to
perfect his title. The following June
he grew tired of waiting, it appears, and
demanded the comntlon of the con
tract He says Kribs then repudiated
the contract He asks for $2,027 to
n imburse him for his expenses, and
$63,000 damages. for profits tap failed to
make. . ,

courthouse here Saturday and nominated
a full county ticket It was found,
however, when the , would-be nominees
prepared to file their certificates of

tion. The Socialists have now circu
lated petitions to nominate their men.

Whittlesey, whose topic was "Coopera
tion of Parent with Teacher." Dr. F.
M. Carter spoke on "Education as a
