Wheatmore of the California league come to Portland to speak at the mass meeting in Arlon hall on January 10. "Will you protest against and oppose any constitutional amendment or treaty provision intended, or which might be used, to extend the right of naturaliza tion; ana ruruier, - "Will you use your voice and vote to wards the enactment of an exclusion law which will effectually prevent ttre immigration into the United States of all Asiatics, excepting merchants, stu dents and travelers; and further, "That the said act contain provisions mat mercnants, stuaents and travelers, when found performing manual labor, shall be deported: and further.
