The farewell of the fourteenth on green, the holiday colors were the pre vailing tints, and garlands of Ivy in terwoven; with red blossoms were fes tooned overhead. The walls were hung with beautiful oriental' rugs; from the balconies hung baskets of scarlet poln settia, and red lights twinkled among the greens of the decorations.
