At the same time William Peterson, a wealthy Chi cago man, with his wife, daughter and Miss Jenkins, a sister-in-law, was also encamped at the lake. One morning, while out in a boat, the girl and Mlsa Jenkins rowed over to a spring to get a drink. As Miss Jen kins attempted " to get . back into the boat She slipped, falling into the water.
