Bhe procured for them food and horses when destitute of both. 6. Bhe ssved their journals and valu able papers at the risk of her own life. I. She waa the only one of the party who received no pecuniary compensation ror ner services. 7. while enduring hardships and suffering she administered to ths nsces sltles of others. S.
