CENTRALIA, Mo., Nov. 2.- The only known incident where a pack age of cigarette papers saved a life occurred here last night, when Clyde Younger, a young man employed bv a grocery house, was attacked by burglar in the rear of his employer's store. Younger was closing the store for the night when he discov ered the would-be robber behind salt barrel. The man attacked Youn ger with a long knife, A murderous thrust cut its way through the coat vest and a book of cigarette papers and inflicted a slight wound.
