The Rev. William S, Gilbert pronounced the impressive words which united the lives ,of these young people. At the close of the ceremony, congratulations were showered upon the hnppy couple. A sumptuous dinner was served which all present enjoyed. About one, hundred and twenty-five guests were in attend ance, a launch being chartered to carry those going from Astoria, ; Tho b"de elegantly attired in white looked very sweet and lovable. The groom is a rising young business man of Astoria. ; . ; Mr. and Mrs. Johnson left one the evening train for a tour of the const cities and on their return they will make Astoria their home. .
