A band of U Mormon missionaires, bound for Eu rope, where they will spread the gospel of the church of the Latter Day Sainta. arrived in Chicago from Salt Lake City yesterday and decided to remain here long enough to inspect the city's fa mous slaughter houses and cattle pens. William Tarbel and Thomas Hogley, in charge of the missionaries, say they will make no attempt to convert cow punchers and butchers. The party, which is traveling in a special car, left Salt Lake City Saturday. The members will leave Chicago today for Fort lead, Maine, whence they will sail for liver pool. There they will report to Apostle Penroe, who 'will assign them to mis sions in Engalnd, Scotland, Denmark and Sweden. No women are in the band, although all except four of tte members of the expedition are married.
