Loudon passed thru yesterday eari'Ute home to Eddyville from a trip to lie north part of the county. R. L. Griswold and children of Falls City spent the Fourth with Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Johnston near this ctiy. Mrs. P. Frederick and daughter, Jane, and niece, Miss Doris Spicer, de parted Monday for a visit at Florence. Bob Mann and Bill Alexander went over to the Agency on a fishing trip Saturday evening, returning Sunday evening. Vernon Johnston, who is working with the S. Brauti returned the first of the week from Portland where she un derwent an operation at one of the Portland hospitals. The Southern Pacific paint crew, of ton or twelve men, is here this week painting up the depot, mile posts, bridges, and other company property. Bernard Sneve loaded a car of household goods, horses and cattle, here Wednesday for shipment to British Columbia, Canada, where he Las a largo ranch.
