Fearn departed this noon for Templeton, calif., where they expect to make their home. L. C. Smith of Newport passed thru to the Valley Tuesday noon. Mr. Smith is in the grocery business at the Resort City. W. E. Peterson returned Saturday from attending the convention of Ford dealers held at Portland the latter part of last week. John E. Peterson of Eddyville was examined here this week as to his sanity. He was pronounced insane and taken out to the asylum yesterday. Felix Gatens and Miss Jessie L.
