Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lucas arrived from Southern California the first of Uie week, end will spend the summer here with Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Rogers. Mrs. Rogers and Mrs. Lucas are sisters. Mrs. Win. Scott of Newport- was1 a Toledo visitor the first of the week. Mrs. Scott and children have been spending the winter at Newport, but expect soon to return to their home on the Lower Siletz. Mr. and Mrs. John Rhoades departed Sunday for She Dalles where they will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Rhoades are old residents of this sec tion, and have many friends here who hale to see them leave, but wish them well In their new location.
