Mr. and .Mrs. Archie Zeek were in 'town Wednesday enToute to Heppner where 'they will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Grover Volgt returned Tuesday evening from Leona where they have been for some time. Mrs. Wakefield of Waldport was in Toledo the first of the week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Hawkins. She departed Wednesday noon for England where she will spend the winter. W. E. Flesher and nephew, Mr. Ixjok wood, of Eugene were Toledo visitors this week. Mr. Flesher has bought a place at Oysterville and intends building a house and putting the tract out to berries. Mr. and Mrs. John Schaffer were over from Siletz Monday. Mr. Schaf fer reports that they have their shingle mill In operation and expect to oper ate steadily all winter. There is a fine bunch of cedar where the mill la located.
