The City Council at its meet ing Monday evening introduced an ordinance to prohibit one family from keeping more than two milch cows and allowing same to run at laige. Also pro The last of the Oddfellows and Rebekahs excursion trains went throught thitf morning for Port land. This tram was a double header with ten, steel coaches. The Moose excursion from the Valley 'to Newport, which was to have been run next Sunday, has been postponed on account of the unsettled weather. . . Davis was arraigned In Justice Court here last week, charged with larceny of public monevs, while s;flool clerk of the Siletz district.
