Its violation by any person or corporation Is pumsnauio in . the Federal Courts. "The shipper or person is re quired to cancel the stamp, by writing across the face his Init als and the date. Some ship pers have been under the im pression that, because the car riers have a limited supply of stamps on hand for the accom modation of their customers, the stamps were to be distrib uted by the roads free. This impression Is erroneous. The law provides that the shipper pay for the stamp, affix and can cel it. "For the convenience of its customers, the Southern Pacif ic has distributed a limited sup ply of stamps to its agents, that they may be obtained from the latter until the Goovernment has completed its arrangements for distributing them through .its own agencies." ! - The White Corner Store Has a larger supply of Tablets, Ink, Paperties, Toys, Ribbon and other Notions, Cesideo the usual Stock of the best Groceries.
