HAWKINS Interest on Time Deposits Mrs. John Fogarty went to Newport Friday evening. G. W. Huffman returned Sat urday evening from a trip to the Valley. J. K. Weatherford and Mr. Bowessox came over from Al bany Saturday evening. County Commissioner and Mrs. Claus Ludemann of Wald port were in the city several days last week, returning to their home at Waldport Friday evening. H. F. Rice and family moved last week into the Dan Grady house recently vacated by Arthur Nye and family. Mr. and Mrs. Nye moving into their new bungalow. The Lincoln County Bank re ceived some fine, new bank fur niture last week and has the same installed. With these new fixtures the interior of the bank presents a very neat appearance and the work can be handled in better shape. Mrs. Leo Batman and infant son arrived Saturday evening from Coos Bay, for a short visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Ross, in this city. Mr. Bateman, who is employed on the dredge Oregon, went with the dredge from Coos bay to Aberdeen, Washington, where the dredge will now be stationed, having finished at Coos bay. The Ahwaneda arrived in Monday, and besides the usual consignment of freight for the local merchants, she had on board a huge boiler for the Geo. W. Moore Lumber company. The boiler is being bricked in and will soon be ready for ser vice. With this boiler in use the capacity of the mill will be considerably increased. Dr. W. M. Died At the family home at Siletz, Oregon., on October 3, 1914, Fulton Felix, aged'7 years. Mrs. E. Ofstedahl and son, Clarence, have moved into the latter's bungalow in Southeast Toledo. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Fuller ar rived over from the Valley Sat urday evening for a visit with Mrs. Fuller's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Brown.
