days last week, returning to

H. F. Rice and family moved
last week into the Dan Grady
house recently vacated by
Arthur Nye and family. Mr.
and Mrs. Nye moving into their
new bungalow.
The Lincoln County Bank re
ceived some fine, new bank fur
niture last week and has the
same installed. With these new
fixtures the interior of the bank
presents a very neat appearance
and the work can be handled in
better shape.
Mrs. Leo Batman and infant
son arrived Saturday evening
from Coos Bay, for a short visit
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
J. H. Ross, in this city. Mr.
Bateman, who is employed on
the dredge Oregon, went with
the dredge from Coos bay to
Aberdeen, Washington, where
the dredge will now be stationed,
having finished at Coos bay.
The Ahwaneda arrived in
Monday, and besides the usual
consignment of freight for the
local merchants, she had on
board a huge boiler for the Geo.
W. Moore Lumber company.
The boiler is being bricked in
and will soon be ready for ser
vice. With this boiler in use
the capacity of the mill will be
considerably increased.
