entry No. 1448, made July 28, 1902. for
south' half of northeast quarter and
north half of southeast quarter section
34, township 9 south, rauge 10 west, by
Rufus S. Holm, eontestee, by which
it is alleged that contestant "knows
the present condition of the same;
same; also that said Rufus F. Holm
has never lived or made improvements
upou said land ; that he has wholly
abandoned said tract and changed his
residence from said land for more than
six months last past, and that said
that said alleged abseuce from the said
land is not due to hisemploymeutin the
army, navy or marine corps of the Uui
ted States as a private soldier, officer,
seamau or marine, during the war with
Spain, or during any other war iu
which the United States may be en
gaged," said parties are hereby notified
