The party eeemed to enjoy the outing, although one of the number has been quite sick since. The way it thundered last right made me think there are too many eastern people here. Parmele and sons are digging the mountain away west of his house to put in a cheese factory. They will milk be tween 20 and 25 cows next summer. Ziegler is ealliog for a sub-con tractor to carry the mail from Kernville to Johnson, to begin work Jan. 1, 1901. The road supervisor of district 18 put 60 days' work on the road this long dry spell. . . The toll-road meeting was a success. They signed the petition to the man.
