Harvey Parks of Elk City was in Toledo, yesterday, accompanied by one of his little brothers Leander, we believe. Mrs. B. F. Swope has been counted with the sick during the past few days. Mrs. Charles McDonald returned this morning to her home at Mor rison. Ed. Meaker, the Yaquina meat man, was a Toledo visitor yester day. Dr. Carter made a professional trip to Yaquina last night. Mrs. R. A. Miller has been quite ill during the past week. Elk City Odd Fellows. The Odd Fellows and Rebekahs held a joint installation at their hall Saturday evening, January 6, 1900. This was a most important part of the exercises and greatly enjoyed by all who partook of the rich viands. Both lodges are in excellent condition socially, financially and fraternally.
