COQUILLE, Dec. 17. The Cooa County Bar Association was organ ized at a meeting of the different lawyers held In the court house in Coqullle. All tho members of the county bar with two oxceptionB were present and signed the roll. These two are absent from Coos and will no doubt join on their return. A. J. Sherwood was elected president of tho association, Judge John P. Hall vlco-presldent, J. J. Stanley secret ary, and C. A. Sehlbrede treasurer. A committee of threo was Imme diately appointed to wait upon and Invite Judge Hamilton and District Attornoy Brown to tho meeting, and tho invitation as extended was ac cepted promptly. COQUILLE, Dec. 17. .Word has reached Coqullle that Grant Ames, a well-known resident of the Ban don vicinity, had been thrown from a horse while riding along the beach and sustained injuries from which ho died a few hours later. Deceased was a nephew of H. L. Cooper, and Mrs. B. J. Wright, who restdeun this city.
