lawyers held In the court house in
Coqullle. All tho members of the
county bar with two oxceptionB were

While Taking Ride.
COQUILLE, Dec. 17. .Word has
reached Coqullle that Grant Ames,
a well-known resident of the Ban
don vicinity, had been thrown from
a horse while riding along the beach
and sustained injuries from which
ho died a few hours later. Deceased
was a nephew of H. L. Cooper, and
Mrs. B. J. Wright, who restdeun this
