The high winds of tho last few days and ,a heavy frost this morning have routed tho local weather prophets. Heavy winds have been hitherto practically unknown In this section during Sep tember and October and tho frost this morning Is the heaviest any of the older residents can recall at this season of the year. Court Is Over. Tho September term of circuit court at Coqulllo was adjourned by Judge Hamilton at Co qulllo this morning. Practically all of the lawyers who have been in at tendance returned on the noon train. The last case heard was that of Tup per vs. Tupper at Coqullle, litigation growing out of tho sale of the Tupper house. Judge Hamilton took tho caso under advisement. Dry In East. PAINTER, Miss Maud Painter and Mrs. Benj. Rico will leavo on the M. F. Plant tomorrow for Tulsa, Osla. Mrs. Rice's homo is at Tulsa and her mother and sis ter will spend the winter with her there. A. GEORGE LAINGOR, an old tlmo resident of Coos county, a voteran of the postofflco service, but now owner and proprietor of a fino ranch on Lake Creek in tho Loon Lako country, has been spending a fow days with friends in Marsh field. Mrs. Lalngor will bo re membered as tho daughter of tho lato Henry Schroedcr, a pioneer Jurist of this section.
