The nail pierced the sole of the' shoe and penetrated his foot. No serious developments are feared although the Injury will be very painful for some time to come. Mr. and Mrs. John Walsh and children of Boise, Ida., who have been visiting at Bandon, have come to North Bend with a viow of locat ing here. The Coos coun ty dairy exhibit for the State Fair, which will be forwarded on the next Alliance, will be met at Portland by Mrs. Yoakam who will have charge of it. Miss Marlon Yoakam of Coos River, will leave on the next Alliance tn nttend the state fair at Salem. She has a position as demonstrator there and after the fair she will go to Corvalls to take a four years course at tho agricultural college, ROBERT SWANTON, who has been visiting his brother, Bennett Swanton. and other relatives and ' friends here will leave soon for San Francisco.
