(Special to The Times.) MYRTLE POINT, Ore., Aug. 19. The annual Coos County Teachers Institute opened hero yesterday with an attendance of over one hundred and the session promises to be ono of the most successful that has ever leon held In tho county. The at tendance was somewhat larger today. The work Is conducted In two de partments, one for primary Instruc tion and the other for the higher grades. The Instructors are R. F. Robinson, L. R. Anderson, A. II. Jones, W. H. Bunch and A. G. Raab. Evening sessions will be held Wed nesday and Thursday. State Superintendent Ackerman who Is to deliver a lecture was scheduled to arrive early today. Last evening, a banquet and re ception was tendered the teachers and proved to be a very successful and enjoyable event.
