FRED TUTTLE'S little three months old daughter is reported quite sick of marasmus. On Sunday morning at 9 o'clock, August 9th, at tho Parsonage of the M. E. Church, South, Mr. Charles A. Brown and Miss Viola M. Gouley were united in marriage, Rev. E. B. Jones, officiating. Mr. Brown and Miss Gouley are both residents of Myrtle Point. Mr. Brown Is a drug gist by profession and formerly lived in Connecticutt. Immediately after tho ceremony the young people left Coquille on their wedding tour. MARRIED At Arago, August 10, at the home of the bride's parents: George Kribs and Maud E. Llnde beck, both native born of Coos coun ty, where their many friends wish them long and happy lives. Judge E. G. D. Holden, performed tho ceremony. AT THE THEATRE. Last night at tho Masonic Opera House, Georgia Harper and her com pany appeared in the comedy drama "All tho Comforts of Home." The house was well filled and the roars of laughter from the audience was strong proof that they enjoyed the play to the fullest extent. Miss Har per was charming in her character and waB well received by tho audi ence. She has captured tho public with her personality and fine acting. Joseph Detrick was superb in last night's play and camo in for a good share of tho applause. In fact all the characters were well taken and the performance was one of the most pleasing ever given hero. "The Two Orphan," De Enery's great drama, tho story of which is familiar to most all theatre patrons will be tho play FRANK RUMMELL and his brother-in-law, Mr. Waller of Poitland, have returned from a hunting trip on tho North Fork of Coos River. They report fair luck. MISS GRACE S. TAYLOR of San Francisco, who has been visiting with the family of Dr. Culin of Co qulllo, left today on the M. F. Plant for her home. R. E. SHINE of the Southern Ore gon Company camo over from Em pire City today on business. He says that everything is prosperous and lovely at Empire, as usual. MISSES GENEVIEVE SENGSTAC KEN and Kathleen Bennett, who have been visiting at Portland and various northern points, have writ ten that they will return on the Al liance Monday morning. MRS. A. R. TEN BROOK and her two children left yesterday for her homo in Klamath Falls. She has been spending several weeks at the homes of her brothers, Jas. T. Hall and John F. Hall. FRANK M. MARHOFFER, the Bay City Merchant, left on tho Eureka for his old homo at Crescent City, Cal., for a two weeks visit with his parents. While at Crescent City, Mr. Marhoffer will look after his interests and the "111 stock." ELIJAH SMITH, head of the South ern Oregon Company, who Is on route from Boston to Coos Bay to spend several months hero looking after business interests and enjoy ing a vacation, is now in Portland. Ho expects to remain thoro sovoral for tonight. Miss Harper will bo seen in the character' of Louise, tho blind girl. Kammerer declares, will prevent time hanging heavy on his hands oven if the fish don't hang so heavy on the pole. J. J. TOOLE, a prominent capitalist of Southern Idaho, arrived here to day for a short visit at the home of P. A. Devers. Mr. Toolo and Mr. Devers were formerly asso ciated In the banking business in Idaho. This Is Mr. Toole's first visit to Coos Bay.
